Professional Experience

At Focus 2030, I contribute to monitoring and analyzing reforms of the international financial architecture, in connection with the G7 under the French presidency, and I take part in data-driven advocacy.

  • Monitoring the reform of the international financial architecture, in connection with the G7 under the French presidency
  • Monitoring and analysis of development finance mechanisms, debt, and solidarity taxes
  • Updating the 4P tracker (Pact for Prosperity, People and Planet)
  • Coordinating actions between NGOs, French and international institutions, foundations, and think tanks
  • Producing and disseminating accessible analyses to support evidence-based advocacy

Experience carried out within the Analysis and Advocacy team at Coordination SUD, the national coordination body bringing together 188 French international solidarity NGOs. This assignment took place in a context of strong budgetary pressures on official development assistance and major challenges around financing international solidarity.

Key responsibilities:

  • Participation in advocacy actions on ODA financing, alongside French institutions (Élysée, Matignon, MEAE, AFD, National Assembly, Senate ...)
  • Supporting the coordination of French civil society ahead of the 4th UN Conference on Financing for Development (FfD4)
  • Contributing to drafting and publicizing a bill to reallocate solidarity taxes (FTT and TSBA) to international solidarity (amendment adopted)
  • Preparing advocacy for the 2026 finance bill (PLF), including participation in a Coordination SUD hearing by the Finance Committee of the National Assembly
  • Supporting the facilitation of the NGO College within the National Council for Development and International Solidarity (CNDSI)
  • Participation in preparatory work of the study with CartONG: "International solidarity weakened by unprecedented budget cuts"

Skills developed:

  • Advocacy strategies
  • Budget analysis and monitoring of development public policies
  • Drafting advocacy messages and position papers
  • Inter-association coordination and network facilitation
  • Institutional communication and parliamentary outreach

Within Mouvement Européen France I held the role of mission officer for promoting European citizenship and values.

Tasks performed:

  • Advocacy around the Europe pour de Bon campaign during the 2024 European elections
  • Institutional relations (notably with French representations of the European Parliament and the European Commission)
  • Multi-channel communications management
  • Facilitation of the personalities network
  • Organization of meetings and events
  • Awareness-raising on issues of European citizenship
  • Organization of a series of preparatory and awareness-raising conferences for the European elections with several personalities (MEPs, the European Parliament's representative in France, European civil servants …)

Examples of events organized:

  • Conference with Bernard Guetta, Member of the European Parliament and journalist
  • Conference with Nathalie Colin-Oesterlé, Member of the European Parliament
  • Conference with Sylvie Guillaume: the public life of an MEP
  • Conference with Yannick JADOT: Is the EU doing enough for the climate?
